The course will be most valuable for those who desire to enhance their scientific writing and productivity. Participants will learn how to clarify interests and goals, select a target audience for writing, create an outline, and avoid obsessive perfectionism.

This workshop will be facilitated by Theodore Stern, MD, director for Clinical Careers, professor of Psychiatry in the field of Psychosomatic Medicine/Consultation, Harvard Medical School, chief emeritus of the Avery D. Weisman, MD Psychiatry Consultation Service, director, Thomas P. Hackett Center for Scholarship in Psychosomatic Medicine, MGH and editor-in-chief, Psychosomatics.

Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Lunch will be served.
