TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for HIV clinicians and caregivers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physicians' assistants.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The presentation will focus on the epidemiology, risk factors, outcomes, and pathophysiology of heart failure among contemporary ART-treated individuals living with HIV. It will also detail areas of active research and discuss potential interventions based on the pathophysiology of heart failure in HIV.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the increased risk of heart failure in HIV
2. Describe the potential pathophysiological mechanisms that drive HF in HIV
3. Consider targeted interventions that may reduce the risk for and improve the outcomes with HF in HIV
